Created by a Spanish team of benevolent developpers, Glest is completely inspired by the first version of the well-known Warcraft. Just like in the old Blizzard's game, the principle of this free 3D real-time strategy game is to build an army to destroy the ennemies. The player can choose beteween two factions (Magic and Tech), each one having its own types of units, buildings and development tree. In the current version of this freeware, you can play only against an artificial intelligence but a player-versus-player version is due to be launched in the future.
